On Tuesday I was very fortunate to be one of the guests at a function to meet with approximately 30 senior members of the Indian Forest Service that are visiting Canada.  Their presentation was very informative, especially the part on ‘social forestry’, which is exactly what we are doing in Africa and call ‘community forests’.

At the informal meeting afterwards I was able to acquaint myself with many of the members and we will benefit from their knowledge working at village level and above all information on the Moringa Tree a native of India.

And yes the beer we shared afterwards broadened our association even more.
