Back to Lusaka

I have just travelled back to Lusaka on a bus to hopefully pick up the truck from getting a clutch job and return to Petauke in the middle of the week with a load of blackboard material. Mr. Ukwimi our Education Coordinator will have figured out our remaining logistics to deliver them. At that time we can get to talk to the teachers and the PTA at each school. The 50 Community Schools are spread out from the Luangwa River to the Mozambique border. We will use the local community radio station to tell them what date we are coming.
In the mean time Felix the Environment Coordinator is working with a small crew to set up the tree nursery at the compound in Petauke. The soil is very sandy and we are hauling in well rotted manure from kraals in the villages we visit. Our seed inventory is on the rise and we are busy packaging them for distribution in October to the communities.
