What are you doing Garry?

29 Oct 2009 07:22 pm

Greetings, it is almost the end of the month and things just keep happening. I have been busy giving my presentation around the island and have met lots of interesting people.
The work continues in Zambia; it is the hot and dry time there so trees are being looked after with more watering needed. The goats keep eying up those nice green seedlings. The well at the new Nkhola Community School site will be finished before the rains. Here in Canada I am busy writing a manual on creating community forests and nursery and tree management. 300 pages and still growing. Our carbon credit side of things is moving along with the creation of our Carbon Credit Investment Fund. I also think a new web page will show up one of these days.

Help to fund a well rehabilitation

09 Oct 2009 11:22 pm

ACP has a project displayed on the Give Meaning site. It is to rehabilitate a well in Petauke District. It is almost half funded, I would like to see the well completed soon. If you would like to help out you can go to http://payback.givemeaning.com and do so. You also get a tax receipt. On behalf of the community Thank You.

Moving along!

08 Oct 2009 03:35 pm

It is Thursday morning and I am busy finally moving ahead with a new look to the web site, coming soon. In Zambia the crew is busy with new tree nurseries at different schools. Ryan is in Chipata getting his motor bike repaired. Geoff is working with the Minister of Tourism and Environment for Zambia on a way forward to work with the government. Honorable Minister Catherine Namugala realizes the need to reforest and address global warming. Rob Friberg our forester is getting things moving with our carbon credit program.
