I am pleased to announce a new member to our team ROBERT F. FRIBERG, BSF, RDF. He is very well qualified as a forester and is knowledgeable about the ever changing world of carbon credits, climate change and global warming. He has worked in many third world countries as well as here in Canada on forestry projects at the community level

I spend hours on this computer working on things that will improve all aspects of the programme. New forms for the facilitators, seed talley’s, well data for new wells and ones needing rehabilitation in the worst way. It is interesting what we find down there; lots of plastic and rusty pieces of metal along with lots of silt. Once the well is clean we usually dig down another 2 or so meters. This gives the community ample water. We are still looking for a shallow pump that will work so we can totally cap off the well, preventing many water born diseases. Finding funding is like fishing you have to spend a lot of time before you are successful. This takes lots of time; I would sooner be in the villages with my hands dirty.
